COMMUNITY

Piedmont Federal Bank was built on community, and much of our community was built with the financing of Piedmont Federal. That is the heart of what it means to be a mutual – working with the community for the community.

We belong to each other, and when we work together we can achieve amazing outcomes.

Therefore, Giving Back is who we are.

A few recent highlights:

Ginger and Robin In January, we ignited our relationship with Dress for Success to explore a business woman mentoring program. We also launched a Coats for Kids campaign that brought in enough coats and funding to provide 100 coats for children!

Second Harvest In February, our focus has been on Food Insecurity. Team Members have been committing time each week to volunteer with the great people at Second Harvest Food Bank.

Forsyth Human Society March was Animal Month at Piedmont Federal when we partnered loved on our furry friends at the Forsyth Humane Society. It took everything we had to resist taking them home with us. To learn more about this great non-profit, go to https://forsythhumane.org/

Stuart and Emma Thomas Trail In April, Piedmont Federal rolled up their sleeves to help build the brand new Stuart and Emma Thomas Trail on the beautiful Crossnore Campus. It was a true honor to work side by side with the Piedmont Land Conservancy (check them out at https://www.piedmontland.org/

Mutt Strut Sneaker Ball Piedmont Federal was proud to sponsor and participate in the Forsyth Humane Society Mutt Strut and the United Way Sneaker ball on the same Saturday in May. Pups and humans alike had a blast!

Field Day Abby on Field Day Who doesn't love FIELD DAY? Well, with the partnership of the Fusion Foundation and Beyond Sports NC, Piedmont Federal was able to put on Field Day festivities at Kimberly Park and Winston-Salem Prep in June! YMCA Bright Beginnings This summer, Piedmont Federal proudly sponsored the YMCA's Bright Beginnings Program. Team Members, along with children from local Title 1 schools, got on the school bus and headed to Walmart to go back to school shopping. What an honor to come alongside these young people and give them the dignity of choosing new things to wear for school. To learn more, go to https://ymcanwnc.org/community/bright-beginnings
