Hope Lung Cancer 5K

On November 3, Piedmont Federal Savings Bank was the first ever title-sponsor for the Hope Lung Cancer 5K which was held at Tanglewood Park in Clemmons.  The event raised more than $35,000 in donations and sponsorships. We had many employees and “friends of Piedmont” participating on “Shirley’s Team.”

Centers for Exceptional Children

Peace Haven Branch is making bears to donate to the Centers for Exceptional Children and will be delivered in February. This idea was presented by Lois Allen, Manager, after participating in a mission project at her church. The bears are completely made by the staff along with the help of Tanya’s mother, Pat Cranfill. There will be a lot happy children in February!

Holiday Helpers

Holiday Helpers
Piedmont Federal and their employees sent gifts and made donations to Hospice and Palliative Care Center’s “Holiday Helpers” initiative. These donations will help support the purchase of holiday meals for HPCC patients/families, and support their emergency fuel fund.
